is the newest addition to the Rosedale Village Shopping Center at
4800 Burnet Rd. Owner Amy Schalk made the decision to open Slate in
November 2007 after opening Soigne' Boutique one year earlier. Slate
offers Austin men a nice selection of trendy yet affordable clothes.
You'll find unique to Austin designers such as Ben Sherman, French
Connection, Hause of Howe, 7 Diamonds, MEK Denim, Tailor Byrd and
many more! Slate also features local designers such as Wisky, 302
Designs and jewelry by Donna Lee Designs.
